MINI Spotting / MINIs Around Town

When you see a Mini parked somewhere, leave them a "Mini Card".  One sure thing you can notice is modifications, stickers & personalized plates - sure signs of a "car person"  Who knows, they might be nuts like us and actually enjoy their Mini !  :o

About Queen City Coopers / About Queen City Coopers
« Last post by Rob Rauch about November 20, 2013, 10:21:11 PM »
Queen City Coopers was started in 2004 by a group of Mini enthusiasts as a club dedicated to having fun with our cars and as a great way to meet new friends.  There are no strangers at a QCC event, only friends who have never met.
We plan interesting events through out the year, including scenic drives, rallies, over nighters and monthly "Motor-Ins" where we all get together for food and conversation and discuss club events  & club business. We also take part in one or two events with other car clubs in the area, meeting new and interesting people with their own interesting cars.
Many of our members are quite knowledgeable about the Mini and enjoy sharing information about the fun and reliability of the Mini. There is a lot of information out there about the MINI, and our club members love to gather  and share it with members through our website and gatherings.
Queen City Coopers depends on the participation of its members. We are always looking for people to take a more active role in the club. If you would like to help the club grow or have a suggestion on an event, please let any of the club members know.

Hope to see you at the next Motor In . . .  Rob

MINI Spotting / Homer, AK
« Last post by Rob Rauch about June 24, 2013, 02:37:43 AM »
There is a green hardtop running around the spit here in Homer.  The only one we have see here in Homer.  There are 2 guys & a gal from St Louis staying about 50 north of here driving a yellow hardtop.  They drove the AlCan and have been staying in hostels & camping across Alaska & Canada.  Can you imagine 4500 miles in the back seat of a Mini  :o  ? ?    They are here for 2 more weeks before heading back.  Oh, to be young again :)

We stopped & visited the Mini dealership in Anchorage.  They have only been open for a few months.  There is a Mini club in Anchorage . . . we will be in touch this week.

MINI Spotting / Alaskan Minis
« Last post by Rob Rauch about May 31, 2013, 02:02:44 AM »
We have seen several Minis in Alaska . . . 4 in Juneau one of which was a convertible !  2 in Ketchikan and one so far in Sitka.  We also spotted a couple QCC members at the Sitka airport a few hours ago . . . Bob & Trudy Hare  . . . what a welcome sight to have friends so far away from home.  Thanks to them we are going to share a weeks cruise together on a boat that only has 60 passengers. up close and personal with ice bergs, glaciers and wild life.   Wish we could share this with all !

MINIs and Things / Re: INTERESTING MINI website

That really is an interesting web site.  Lots of cool pictures.  That would have been an awesome drive.  I can't believe that they covered over 6,600, and visited 13 countries.  That would be the drive of a life time.  I can't wait to hear how Rob and Carol's drive to Alaska goes.
